Steps to Register

Check Your Registration Date and Time

You can find your registration date by logging into your MyCollege.laccd account. You can register any point AFTER your designated date and time. Learn More about Registration Dates and Priority Registration.

Make Sure Your Prerequisites Are Cleared

  • You will not be allowed to register for a course with prerequisites if you have not fulfilled the requirements. Find out more about Prerequisites and Co-requisites.

Plan Your Classes

Use your Student Educational Plan to help you decide which classes to you need to take during the upcoming semester.

  • Check the schedule of classes to search for Open/Closed classes for the upcoming semester. Write down the four-digit section number, course title, meetings times, and units for each course you want to register in.
  • Pick Alternate Classes/Sections to use in case the ones you want are closed.

Register Online!

Once it's your registration date, go to MyCollege.laccd to sign up for your classes. The Registration system is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week

Waitlist for Closed Classes

During the enrollment period prior to the start of classes, students wishing to add classes which have reached the enrollment limit can add themselves to the waitlist. A process will run through-out the day that will automatically enroll students in the class from the waitlist as seats become available. An email will be sent to the student's LACCD email account notifying them of the registration and the enrollment fee charge will be added to their student fiscal account. The last day a student can be added to a waitlist is the day before the first day of the session. Waitlists apply to all regular and short-term session classes, summer and winter intersession. Pay Your Fees

Remember, your registration will not be complete until LAHC receives your payment for all fees. Fees can be paid through MyCollege.laccd. Visit the LACCD policy on Fee Payment Policy for more details.
