Food Insecurity 

In an article published in the Community College Journal of Research and Practice, it was noted that "Food insecurity may have an adverse effect on student academic performance and is a factor to be considered by college administrators, faculty and students." As depicted in this newsletter, the Los Angeles Harbor College campus community is actively working together to eradicate the problem. LAHC is committed to removing barriers that preclude students from having the best academic performance possible.
