Offered Events

University Transfer Fair	Los Angeles Harbor College Transfer Center hosts its annual University Fair during the Fall semester. The location will be between the Seahawk Center and Library. All students and community members are welcome to attend. We are expecting over 50 colleges to attend. For more information, please contact the Transfer Center.
University Tours	Los Angeles Harbor College Transfer Center provides FREE field trips to local Universities. Please check the monthly calendar as well as announcements for upcoming field trips. To sign up for an upcoming field trip all students are required to stop by the Transfer Center. Upon signing up, students will be asked to provide a $5 refundable deposit for reservation. The deposit will be returned to the student upon attending.
Red Alert Week	Transfer Red Alert Week is the application rush week to help students file their application on time, typically held on the week of November 30th. During this week, the Transfer Center offers the following services: Computers & iPads reserved expressly for application filing Extra power strips for personal notebook computers Printer – up to 3 free copies Walk-in Application Assistance Refreshments and snacks will be provided Transfer Center Staff will be on hand to assist students with any part of your application process including the UC personal insight questions.
Northern Field Trip	Los Angeles Harbor College Transfer Center orchestrates and provides a FREE 3-Day field trip to multiple Northern California universities. Please check the monthly calendar as well as announcements for the upcoming northern field trip that will be held during spring break of each spring semester . Applications are required and will be available at the Transfer Center and on our website. For more information please contact the Transfer Center.
Open House	Los Angeles Harbor College will host an Open House in Spring 2020. Students will be acquainted with transfer resources and services. Refreshments and snacks will be provided.
Transfer Recognition Ceremony	Los Angeles Harbor College Transfer Center organizes an event to celebrate and honor LAHC students transferring to a 4-year university. The annual Transfer Ceremony is held during the month of May. It is a FREE event that includes a free brunch recognizing transfer student success. Students are encouraged to invite family members and friends. For more information please contact the Transfer Center.
