UCLA's Center for Community College Partnerships wants you to know that our CCCP Scholars Program is virtual this year and we are still accepting applications from students in the following community colleges:
East Los Angeles College, Los Angeles College City, Los Angeles College Harbor, Los Angeles College Mission Los Angeles College Pierce, Los Angeles College Southwest, Los Angeles College Trade Tech, Los Angeles College Valley, Pasadena City College and West Los Angeles College.
CCCP VIRTUAL SCHOLARS PROGRAM HIGHLIGHTS
The CCCP Scholars program aims to motivate, inform and prepare students to transfer from a California community college to selective Top Tier Research institutions such as UCLA. The program is grounded in Critical Race Theory in Education, academic excellence, social justice and educational equity. Some of the
benefits include:
- Guidance on how to maximize academic programs at your community college
- In depth information on the transfer and application process to UC/UCLA
- Research and pre-graduate opportunities and career exploration
- Invitation to exclusive Webinars, Activities and Opportunities
- Access to a peer mentor/femtor who has successfully transferred to UCLA and a supportive community of staff and peers
- CCCP Scholars have a higher rate of admissions to selective institutions and might eligible for special scholarships
STEPS TO BECOME A CCCP SCHOLAR

1.Complete the CCCP Scholar Program application at https://cis.ucla.edu/cccp/appform/
2. Participate in one of the CCCP Power to the Transfer Webinars
UCLA's Center for Community College Partnerships is hosting a series of informational webinars that are open to students currently enrolled in a California community college. The webinars will provide information about the program and changes for this year; the benefits of becoming a CCCP Scholar and to answer any question you may have.

3.Create of a UC Transfer Admission Planner (UC TAP) account at https://uctap.universityofcalifornia.edu/students/index.cfm
Create UC TAP account, if you don’t have one yet using the same name as in the CCCP Scholars application
Include ALL coursework and grades through spring 2020 unless you started college for the first time in summer of 2020 or after. Have a copy of all your unofficial transcripts.
4. Complete the CCCP Virtual Scholars Program Survey Checklist at
