​​​​​​Chapter 33  -  Post 9/11 GI Bill


​​Qualifications:  To qualify for chapter 33, you must have at least 90 days of aggregate active duty service after Sept. 10, 2001 or 30 days if you were discharged with a service connected disability. You may be on active duty, or be an honorably discharged Veteran.


​​​Benefit Detail:  The Post-9/11 GI Bill provides up to 36 months of educational benefits.  Benefits expire 15 years after your last separation date unless your service ended on or after January 1, 2013 in which your benefits never expire.  You will receive covered tuition and fees up to $22,805.34, Basic Allowence for Housing (BAH) based on your school's zip code as long as you are in school more than half time, and an annual stipend for books / supplies of up to $1,000.
